You can also find a great selection of handpicked plants for your house or terrarium. We have a wide variety of animals to choose from including birds, small animals, reptiles, amphibians, insects and fresh and saltwater fish. We also cater to the needs of more exotic or specialized pets by providing food and supplies specifically designed for them. We currently have well over 30 brands of dog & cat foods and thousands of different products, many of which are from local vendors. Our goal is to meet the individual needs of all our customers and create a feeling of community in the shop. To this day we continue to organize, renovate, and upgrade all areas of the store. The doors opened more than 25 years ago in 1990 as a tiny shop on the corner, but it wasn't long before there was a need to expand and in 2004 major renovations were completed. Pets on Broadway is Portland’s largest, locally owned, independent pet shop conveniently located on the corner of NE Broadway and 28th.
